Eight Gigs: Fatlip & Slimkid3

The Pharcyde released back-to-back classics in the ’90s with the Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde debut and Labcabincalifornia follow-up. With success came amplified internal struggles that manifested in crack addiction and physical fights. The Pharcyde fractured, but Fatlip (pictured) and Slimkid3 have since restored their friendship and continue to tour off their solo works. Fatlip’s The Loneliest Punk continues to age well 11 years removed, while Slimkid3 released a solid collaboration album with DJ Nu-Mark in 2014.
