Since the release of his 1991 debut Quik is the Name, DJ Quik has been a living Compton legend. As a solo artist he’s released nine albums, including 2014’s The Midnight Life, and his production credits include Tupac’s All Eyez On Me, Snoop Dogg’s Murder Was the Case and the Menace II Society soundtrack. Oh, and he laced Shaquille O’Neal’s many rap records with production.
