Eight Gigs: Crimson Eye

Fan of stoner and doom metal? You're in luck. Crimson Eye is a brand spankin' new quartet featuring longtime members of the Sacramento metal scene. Carl Arana leads the pack as vocalist alongside guitarist Rob Dickson, drummer Jeff Buxbaum and bassist Russ Partanen. Although they were able to squeeze in a last-minute practice slot at Blue Lamp recently, this Sunday is the band's first official show. Folks who know Arana know he has some serious musical taste and, if his last band Ghulheim was any indication, folks better bring some earplugs (and eye drops) to the show.
