Eight Gigs: Brian Chris Rogers

Local singer-songwriter Brian Chris Rogers may have only recently started releasing music, but he isn't new to the scene. For a while he fronted Izabella and the Nibblers, and he's played a variety of instruments for other artists such as Rasar (bass) and the Toyes (drums). These days, he's taking his many skills and focusing them on his own music. He calls his style “Alien Soul” but really what he's doing is tinkering with any and all styles including reggae, rock, funk, hip-hop and jazz.
