Eight Gigs: Brett Dennen

Why would nationally relevant singer-songwriter Brett Dennen play Sacramento's free Farm-to-Fork Festival? Maybe because folk-pop artist Dennen is from nearby Oakdale and, apparently, a foodie at heart. He recently came out with his own wine label, Dennen Wines. Boldly, his first wine is a sparkling rose called, expectedly, “Charismatic Fool.” Plus, the bright-red-haired, oversized glasses-wearing man is known for being all about peace, love, nature and sustainability.
