Eight Gigs: Bows

Berkeley-based electro-pop duo Bows has quite the origin story: After Kaila McIntyre-Bader broke both her elbows (get it?!) in a bicycle accident, she was forced to temporarily abandon the piano. As she healed, she explored making music on her computer, which bandmate Luke Bace eventually translated into the synth stylings that make up their very Sylvan-Esso-like sound. The end results are highly danceable, a little psychedelic and a lot of fun.
