Eight Gigs: Bongzilla

Legendary sludge band Bongzilla is coming to town, and while it seems to have a theme, I’m not sure what it is. After spending some time with the album Amerijuanican, I’m pulling out my hair trying to discern the meaning behind songs such as “Weedy Woman” and “Champagne & Reefer.” What I do know is that this band crushes—fuzzy, heavy and screechingly dope. If you know what’s going on with these guys, please clue me in.
