Eight Gigs: Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
Sat., Jan. 30, 7 p.m., Ace of Spades, $28
Any day now, I expect to come across one of those “10 Reasons Sacramento is Actually a Place” listicles written by an East Coast transplant and find “Bone Thugs-N-Harmony plays Ace of Spades a lot” listed as one of the city’s secret perks. Alas, that fringe benefit may be coming to an end; the iconic rap group out of Cleveland announced plans for a final album, E. 1999 Legends, last year after a career that spanned more than two decades. (Of course, the group has disbanded and re-banded a number of times over the years, so don’t meet them at the crossroads just yet.) 1417 R Street, www.facebook.com/OfficialBoneThugs.
