Eight Gigs: Anuhea

Returning to Sacramento as part of her Aloha Always tour, the beguiling Anuhea is a gifted singer-songwriter who delivers a unique, easygoing brand of reggae-fused pop, in which the songs come first, and ego and attitude are left behind. The 29-year-old Anuhea's life experiences include college water polo, campus TV anchoring, a film school and a three-week trek to Australia to find her muse. Once back home in Hawaii, her career grew organically from coffee shop open-mic nights to her being the successful, in-demand artist of today.
