Eat Me: A 50-50 deal

Sacramento Bacon Fest fans take note: Cheesy Charlie's Bake Sale Cafe, a somewhat grungy diner that opened in December, is serving a burger that's half ground bacon, half ground beef. Actually, any burger the restaurant serves can be ordered with this meat blend. It's not the most unique thing in the world (Los Angeles burger joint Slater's 50/50 has been doing this for years, and Sacramento's 58 Degrees & Holding Co. offers its own version), but the burger is pretty darn good. It's not too bacony, and the brioche bun complements the richness of the patty.
