Dustin Aaron
Singer-songwriter Dustin Aaron may lend his talents to several local acts (he plays bass for Jay Shaner and drums for Be Brave Bold Robot), but he’s also got his own project to tend to. The Foreign Cinema specializes in a mellow, indie sound, akin to Elliott Smith, Nick Drake and other despondent singer-songwriters—let’s just hope Aaron doesn’t meet the same untimely demise. You can catch him live at Java Lounge on October 28 and CoolCat Gallery on November 2. Oh, and keep an eye out for Everybody is Lonely, an EP slated for release later this year.
