Dr. T and the Women

An overbooked Dallas gynecologist (Richard Gere) has a waiting room full of squabbling patients and stirrup groupies. His wife (Farrah Fawcett typecast in her infamous Letterman daze) is stripping in mall fountains and regressing into childhood. His daughter (Almost Famous' Kate Hudson) is about to be married. And his infatuation with an attractive golf pro (Helen Hunt) is driving him nuts. As the genial doctor’s understanding of both life and the opposite sex slips away, so slips any semblance of redeeming revelation from director and ensemble shepherd Robert Altman.
