Double the trouble

Bobby Joe Ebola and the Children MacNuggits, the East Bay folk-punk satirical duo, is venturing into the publishing world. For their first endeavor, Dan Abbott and Corbett Redford have written not one, but two books. The first, Meal Deal With the Devil!! (Microcosm Publishing, $19.95), features two illustrated stories drawn by Jason Chandler: “Down at the Jamboree” and “The Town With No Beer.” It comes with a CD of related songs and reads like a parody of '70s-era sing-along storybooks.
