Doodles, drinks and roller derby

Put on your fishnets, lace up your roller skates and get ready for a wild night of … arts and crafts? Yep, you heard right. The ladies of the Sac City Rollers are more than just hot chicks on wheels that could easily kick your ass. These derby-loving dames enjoy the finer things in life: community outreach, fundraising, the arts. Featuring artworks from many local artists, and even several of the team members, the first Derby Girl Mansion Art Show will knock the wind out of you metaphorically, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it did literally, too. Food and drinks will be provided, and all of the works on display will be available for purchase to support Sac City Rollers’ future league events. So make sure to bring your wallet and thirst for local masterpieces. Oh, and it probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to pack your protective gear, just in case.
