Display your work at First Festival

There’s a palpable sense of excitement for the third annual, all-local First Festival—a hopeful bounce back from last year’s low turnout. Now, the fest is looking for local artists to contribute to its pop-up art gallery, which will take place May 6 and 7 at Riverwalk Park in West Sacramento. Submissions are due by Friday, March 10, and should fit under an overarching but flexible theme of “Unity in Diversity.” We’ll be upfront here: There’s no monetary payment, but there are some festival perks and, obviously, an audience of potentially thousands of attendees.
