Dan Samborski at Asylum Gallery
It’s election season, and you never know what you’re gonna get.
Which is why this month’s d’ART cover, Dan Samborski’s “Postmodern Gothic,” captures so well the struggle of the 21st-century working class and American laborer: divided, uncertain, vibrant, fractured.
Samborski will show September 6 to October 6 at Asylum Gallery inside HQ: Headquarters for the Arts, 1719 25th Street (behind the gray fence at 25th and R streets). A Second Saturday reception is planned from 6 to 9 p.m. on September 13. Regular gallery hours will be 1-5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and by appointment.
