June 27, Pachamama's Midtown Roastery Launch Party
Sacramento continues to make good on its vow to be the best in the farm-to-table/fork/cup game with the launch of the Pachamama Coffee Cooperative of Small-Scale Coffee Producers roasting headquarters in Midtown. The co-op, comprised of family-owned farms outside the U.S., celebrates with a full day of classes on farming, roasting and home-brewing, topped off with free tacos and beer. 11 a.m.-midnight, Saturday, June 27; free. 919 20th Street, www.pacha.coop.
