Those looking to stay sane this election season (too late?) should visit Owen Ellickson’s Twitter account to browse through the “Trump: The Archives” series. Each tweet is imagined as a conversation between the presidential nominee and another GOP higher-up—typically Paul Ryan or Chris Christie. The dialogue, which read like the script from an absurdist two-man play, is at once hilarious and depressing as hell:
“RYAN: Your son Eric said some pretty bad stuff about sexual harassment.
TRUMP: OK. Want me to disavow him?
RYAN:
TRUMP: Happy to disown, too.”
Ellickson is a writer and producer whose credits include The Office, Superstore and The King of Queens, but this political “parody” may prove to be his greatest contribution to society ever. https://twitter.com/onlxn.
