Coyote Ugly

Jersey pizza slicer and wannabe songwriter pursues pop stardom in Manhattan’s East Village in this slinky show-biz fantasy. Tap beer, tight butts and a strip-clubbish cure for stage fright are chased with back-to-back PG-13 shots of Flashdance, Cocktail and Showgirls. Shrinking Violet (Piper Perabo) lands a job sloshing beer in a watering hole where sexy barmaids (Isabella Miko, Tyra Banks, Bridget Moynahan) turn their shifts into writhing lust fests as they shimmy and grind atop the bar under the scrutiny of their den-mother boss (Maria Bello). The experience jump-starts Violet’s live-performance talent but disrupts her longterm goals and her relationships with her father (John Goodman) and boyfriend (Adam Garcia).
