Cory’s Cult Classics
Sunday, May 20, 4p.m., Cafe Colonial, no cover
For more than three years, film lovers have had the chance to spend a Sunday afternoon at Cafe Colonial watching flicks of varying degrees of quality and raunch. Some events have had specific themes—like the Kubrick double feature back in March—and all have been free. For its final hurrah, Cory’s Cult Classics will feature Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead and The Toxic Avenger. Organizers promise another themed movie night is in the works, so (much like the chickens in Poultrygeist), it will take a different, undead form. 3520 Stockton Boulevard, www.facebook.com/cafecolonial.
