Convergence II: The Spirit

It’s easy to forget what a neighborhood was like five, 10, 30 years ago, but through art and oral history, we can keep those memories from fading. Convergence II is a three-part look at Oak Park history through music, art, dance and film. MôD Artists, made up of Sacramento and Davis-based musicians, will perform original music inspired by Oak Park with Sacramento Ebony Chorale and children from Capitol Heights Academy. This second part of Convergence II, titled “The Spirit,” focuses on the neighborhood from the 1960s through the 1980s. 2837 36th Street.
