Conservation is the key
Because of climate change, we can no longer take a reliable water source for granted. And the key to our local and state water challenges is conservation. Saturday’s conservation workshop, hosted by the City of Sacramento Department of Utilities, will educate people about plant irrigation, how to earn rebates on water-saving appliances, and the city’s new conservation rules and services. Showing up will even waive your first $25 fine for water-conservation violations. The workshop will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 30, at the Water Conservation Office, 2260 Glen Ellen Circle.
