Rather than treating Sacramento to another great holiday concert, the Sacramento Men’s Chorus has decided to go on a cruise. Lucky for us, we’re all invited along! SMC opens their 17th annual concert season with A Queen Mary Christmas. Captained by Julie the Cruise Director (played by Elly nominee Shara Lynn Kelsey), the Men’s Chorus boards the Queen Mary cruise ship for a trip around the Americas and a program of Christmas music ranging from traditional to comic. The ship stops at Boston, Charleston, the Carribean Islands, Buenos Aries, Acapulco and Hollywood, with plenty of wild adventures in between. So grab your shades and your suntan lotion and climb aboard for an unforgettable vacation in the space of an evening. Showtimes are 8 p.m. December 20 and 21; 3 p.m. December 22.
