Rock singer/songwriter Kennedy Johnson (Jimmy Tuckett) moves from Riverside to Hollywood with his manager/brother King (Brad Hunt) in an attempt to break into the recording business. Their band begins to turn heads at a trendy Sunset Boulevard club when it runs afoul of a local drug dealer (John Sklaroff) who wants a piece of their future. The story about fraternal loyalty and artistic struggle is rather uneven and the acting often amateurish. Lori Petty co-stars as a punkish singer and Heather Stephans plays a waitress who supports Kennedy’s music. Directed by Madonna music video veteran Mary Lambert.
