Those who have yet to plant their gardens for the summer can safely be characterized as procrastinators. However, there is an advantage to procrastination—end-of-season clearance sales. The UC Davis Arboretum will host its plant sale Saturday, May 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Arboretum Teaching Nursery, on Garrod Drive on the UC Davis campus. Hundreds of varieties of plants will be available, including ones not found in commercial nurseries. Arboretum experts also will be on hand to offer planting advice.
