Cinnabar

In this play debut, playwright Laurie Blazich mines the fascinating history of health hazards in Cinnabar ore, slowly killing early California quicksilver/mercury miners. Though both the play and the production still have a workshop feel about them, with a little time and editing, it should result in an interesting examination of a disturbing time in California history.
