Chicks are so funny
The ladies of Lady Business will get all in your funny business.
Who says women aren’t funny? Well, nobody who does comedy, that’s fer darn sure. The ladies of Lady Business put that to the test every third Saturday, when they bring their improv skills to the stage at Sacramento Comedy Spot. Hey, dudes, don’t assume it will be “nice” comedy; these chicks know how to grab a crotch, rearrange—uh, something—and belch with the best of them, if it gets a laugh. But they also take a cue from the audience, using one-liners to build sketches that are flat-out hilarious. Full disclosure: One troupe member, Becca Costello, works at SN&R. She’s hardly ever funny for us, though; she saves it for the paying customers.
