Chicken Little gets a little show

Local playwright Laura Shepherd (Annie’s Story, The Last Resort Trailer Park) goes in an entirely new direction with her latest work. Chicken Little’s (Stupendously Fabulously Wild) Christmas Party, which brings the cast of the familiar story—Turkey Lurkey, Henny Penny, Foxy Loxy and of course, Chicken Little—to the Thistle Dew Dessert Theatre’s intimate stage. We’ve heard that there’s a special guest appearance by Santa Claus, too. As if that weren’t enough to warm the hearts of both children and parents, it’s the Thistle Dew Dessert Theatre, which means dessert is included in the ticket price. Chicken Little’s (Stupendously Fabulously Wild) Christmas Party is at 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays through December 24. Tickets are $10 for children and $15 for adults, with a special family pack of $10 per ticket for families of more than three.
