Got a library card? Then accessing free (or nearly free) culture is as easy as checking out a book. Sacramento Public Library cardholders can take part in its Discover & Go museum-pass program and explore regional museums such as the Napa Valley Museum in Yountville, the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History in Santa Cruz, and the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa. In all, the SPL card provides discounts or free passes to more than 20 eclectic offerings. Each pass is good for two users, but some museums, including Aquarium of the Bay in San Francisco, also offer family passes.
