Charity recipes

Terry Walter is seeking recipes from local chefs to create a charity cookbook to increase awareness and research of the little-known disease that killed her husband, her husband’s two brothers and their mother. Frontotemporal dementia, also known as Pick’s disease, commonly strikes persons in their 40s and 50s and causes a progressive decline in behavior and language skills. There is no treatment to slow or stop the disease. Walter wants her Quest to Cure—FTD cookbook to be chockablock with recipes for great food from great chefs up and down the Sacramento Valley.
