Can we get a story?
This week’s Stories on Stage series features the work of Naomi Williams and Zoe Keithley, and is hosted by local poet Dorine Jeannette. Williams has had stories published in The Southern Review, A Public Space, American Short Fiction and One Story; her story, “Sunday School,” will be read by Cynthia Mitchell Speakman. Keithley is best known locally as a poet; her collection Crow Song was published by Sacramento’s Roan Press. Her story, “A Little Foreign Travel,” will be read by Bonnie Antonini. The reading starts at 7:30 p.m., has a $5 suggested donation, and is at the Sacramento Poetry Center, 1719 25th Street. There will be refreshments served beginning at 7 p.m.
