Buy in to art

Whether you have some extra coin—or just the burning desire to do some good in this crazy, mixed-up world, here’s a chance to help the local arts scene. The folks over at Sol Collective recently had the rent on their building jacked up—an unfortunate and all-too-common situation these days. But, silver lining, they were also given the opportunity to purchase the building outright.

The catch, of course, is coming up with the money for a down payment. To that end, Sol Collective has launched a fundraiser. If you’re not familiar with the organization, know this: It’s an artistic, cultural and activist hub that serves and mentors young artists, artists of color and anyone who wants to have a positive impact on Sacramento’s art scene.
