Buddyhead Gossip

Fledging West Coast record label Buddyhead doesn’t make much of a dent in the musical community in terms of sales, but the label’s owners, Aaron North and Travis Keller, make up for their lack of mainstream acceptance by tearing down practically everybody else who has any. One common trick on the snarky pair’s gossip page is the posting of a particularly douchebagish rock star’s personal phone number (Fred Durst got this treatment a few times back when anyone cared about him). These days, the page mostly promotes upcoming Buddyhead events, but the latest update does include a hilarious video interview with Eagles of Death Metal frontman Jesse Hughes on what it was like play a show with the current incarnation of Guns N’ Roses (regrettably no longer due to “perform” this week at Arco Arena).
