A self-taught artist with Berkeley roots and a career in LA, Nisha K. Sethi is bringing her message of social justice to Sacramento. Her solo show, Brown Girl Resist!, features hand-painted signs reminiscent of the civil rights era, mixed-media pieces and a showcase of the South Asian and brown women who aim to disrupt patriarchal norms and white supremacy.
