Breakfast blend
recipe: Blueberry Basil Bliss
Smoothies are amazing. I enjoy throwing fruit and ice into a blender in the morning because it’s easy, it’s healthy and I get to be creative with my recipes. I was craving something fresh recently and came up with one of my favorite combinations yet: Blueberry Basil Bliss. To make it, I poured 6 ounces of Blue Diamond Almond Breeze milk into a blender, followed by a banana, a handful of blueberries, three basil leaves and a few ice cubes. That’s it. Sometimes, I add extra blueberries and banana slices on top as edible decorations. They add a dynamic texture to the smooth, chilled concoction. Follow your own bliss and blend it up for breakfast.
