Comedian Will Durst has shifted gears after decades of making a name for himself as a political humorist. The 32-year veteran of comedy visits Sacramento Friday, August 23, with a show titled BoomeRaging: From LSD to OMG, in which he riffs on his own life, his generation and the occasional acid flashback. Despite its main focus on the baby-boomer generation, the show will appeal to those of all ages, and will also include some political jokes—because politics did, of course, play a huge part in the lives of the boomers. The show is presented by Humor Times, the Sacramento-based publication that's run Durst's weekly comedy column for the last 20 years. The best part? Free drinks in the lobby (beer, wine and soda) an hour before the show.
