Sacramentans have embraced the British holiday custom of panto-style entertainment, which features campy comedy for kids, cross-dressing comedy for the grown-ups, silly songs and candy. The tradition continues with Beowulf, the Panto!—based (very loosely) on the epic poem written in Old English circa 1000 A.D.
