The BENT festival, formerly the Sacramento International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, highlights some of the best LGBTQ films from 2018. From the documentary Life in the Doghouse, detailing the story of a couple who use their own home as a rescue shelter for dogs, to Dykes, Camera, Action, a look into the history of women influencing queer cinema, as well a number of short films and other works, this festival aims to share diverse stories from the community. 1013 K Street, bentfilmfest.org.
