Beers of summer

Fountainhead Brewing Co. has only been open a few weeks, but it already impresses with its relaxed atmosphere and tasty beers, some of which are named with a nod to nearby Hollywood Park. My favorite so far is the Station 12 ($5), a Belgian blonde with a light, creamy feel and a bright, tart taste. Even though the hot season is still months away, it’s going to be one of my go-to summer brews. Bonus, it’s got a sweet little 5.4 ABV, making it the perfect drink for whiling away the hours. 4621 24th Street, www.fountainheadbrewingco.com.
