MacMurray Estate Vineyards Pinot Noir

Ordering wine at a basketball game feels a little bourgie, right? That’s what I was in the mood for recently at the Golden 1 Center, however, when I ordered a glass of MacMurray Estate Vineyards Pinot Noir ($12). This Russian River Valley vintage pours a gorgeous deep ruby red and reveals itself to be complex and full-bodied. There are hints of dark cherry and boysenberry but the overall takeaway is its lovely notes of chocolate and vanilla. Don’t want to feel bourgie buying it by the glass at a game? It retails for $28 a bottle. www.macmurrayestatevineyards.com.
