Baked good, indeed
Azna Gluten Free (2647 Cameron Park Drive) in Cameron Park is an oasis for those with celiac disease—as the name implies—and vegans. Nestled in the corner of an inconspicuous shopping center, it offers an animal-product- and gluten-free smorgasbord of baked goods, such as Belgian waffles, brownies, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, muffins and scones, as well as savory meals: lasagna, calzones, nachos and burritos. So far, I’ve only tried the lemon raspberry scone and zucchini carrot muffin. Both were moist, full of flavor but weren’t oversweetened. With that kind of quality, it’s worth trying more. Visit www.aznaglutenfree.com for more info.
