Bad people, it’s time to laugh
Tired of starting the second half of your Friday night out on a sour note? Even bad people have a right to laugh (and you know who you are). Got an itch for some filthy jokes or a yen to hear some nasty people tell ’em? Check out Bad Comedy for Bad People at the Sacramento Comedy Spot (1050 20th Street), where host Noel DeWitt will (barely) moderate a collection of what is billed as “a dirty show featuring the dirtiest comics telling their dirtiest jokes dirtily.” Aw, c’mon. You know you want to go giggle at stuff you’re not supposed to find amusing, and you’re dying to see if someone tells “The Aristocrats.” So shuck your inhibitions and loosen up your tight-laced morality. Be a little—or a lot—bad. Tickets for the Friday, August 13 show are $6; buy them online at www.saccomedyspot.com. Doors open at 10:50 p.m. for an 11 p.m. show, and it’s not for kids—or for the squeaky clean.
