Bacon fantasy

My love for bacon has known no bounds. Recently, my ultimate dream was realized: bacon pancakes. The Original Pancake House in Roseville features this sweet and savory—albeit not altogether original—creation, sprinkling bits of smoky bacon onto the batter as the pancake is cooking and then topping it off with more chunks of delicious meaty goodness. Bacon filling landed in practically every bite of the fluffy pancake; it was a heavenly experience. Yet, even with bacon in my pancakes, what did I have as a side dish? More bacon, of course.
