Watchers of California’s energy scene are abuzz about Peter Asmus’ recent work, Introduction to Energy in California, the latest edition in the California Natural History Guide series. The 444-page, easy-to-digest field guide is subtitled “A Primer on Energy Sources, Challenges and Solutions,” which will also be the topic when Asmus appears Thursday, August 20, from 4 to 5:15 p.m. at UC Center Sacramento, 1130 K Street.
