As You Like It

Shakespeare’s comedy about love in the Forest of Arden is updated to include hippies in 1969 Orange County, and it also adds original music for the bard’s lyrics by Canadian folk-pop band the Barenaked Ladies. It’s got some great physical comedy, a pair of leads with chemistry and toe-tapping music—not to mention tie-dye, a VW Bug, and weed smoking. In short, it’s a big dose of summer love.
