Apollopalooza at the Aerospace Museum
Saturday, July 20, 10apm, Aerospace Museum of California, $10-$15
Where were you when the first humans walked on the moon? If you’re like me, you don’t remember because you weren’t alive, but you can remember where you were when you celebrated the 50th anniversary of the day—the Aerospace Museum’s Apollopalooza. The museum is partnering with the Powerhouse Science Center to put together this day of lunar lunacy. There’s a moon mission virtual reality experience, space-themed cosplayers, science-themed activities and much more. You’ll get to see some moon landing footage from NASA and the Smithsonian, you’ll take in some food trucks and learn something about the moon landing. You don’t want to miss this once-in-a-half-century event. 3200 Freedom Park Drive, Suite 300, aerospaceca.org.
