If your idea of fun is dressing up as your favorite cartoon character, you’ll want to visit SacAnime, which happens all weekend at the Radisson Hotel. The event celebrates anime, manga, comics, toys, films and video games. A variety of voice and film actors will be on hand to sign autographs and chat with fans, including four of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers—the red, yellow, pink and black rangers from the original series. Live performances include Japanese rock band Akai Sky, alternative rock band Eyeshine and visual kei musician Kairu, who performs rock while wearing gothic, androgynous costumes. Saturday night, there will also be a rave with DJ Helsing and deejay group Random DJs. Fashion, art, card and video game contests will be held throughout the weekend. People in costumes will win random prizes on the spot. Just don’t let your Facebook friends know, or your real friends—assuming you have any.

SacAnime takes place Friday and Saturday from noon to 2 a.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets cost $15 for Friday or Sunday, $25 for Saturday or $35 for the entire weekend. Radisson Hotel, 500 Leisure Lane. More information is available at www.sacanime.com.
