Every once in a while, local art-damage cabaret combo dRAW pINKY emerges from that particular hell of the typographically tortured where it apparently winters in relative seclusion to burst, seraphim-like, onto a lucky local stage to work its particular brand of slack-inducing magic. So it will be this Saturday, March 16, at around 9 p.m. at the True Love Coffeehouse, 2406 J St. For $6, you’ll also be treated to the sounds of Joe Montoya, the singer, songwriter and poet who will open the festivities. This sounds vaguely like something that should not be missed, does it not?
