For the past 20 years, Larry King has hosted Larry King Live, a nightly interview program that has positioned King across from prominent celebrities (think Audrey Hepburn and Madonna), politicians (including Martin Luther King Jr. and John F. Kennedy) and other notable figures (like Billy Graham and Monica Lewinsky—how do you like that pairing?). See King’s trademark glasses, rolled-up sleeves, tie and suspenders when he speaks at the sixth annual Celebration Gala, a benefit for the UC Davis Cancer Center. The black-tie affair will feature a dinner; a silent auction; music by the Cheeseballs; and, of course, a speech by the event’s guest of honor, Larry King.
