While it’s funnier than the first film, this time out the raunchy shenanigans are weighed down by sappy-crappy sentimental garbage that clashes with the crude humor. I found myself laughing hard at quite a few moments but groaning through many more. Still, a highlight reel featuring the film’s best gags would definitely be worth watching, and any moment featuring Eugene Levy’s character is worthwhile. I suppose the movie is worth enduring for Levy’s penis cream speech. It’s too bad the writer couldn’t find a few more jokes to downplay the goop. Almost recommended, but not quite.
